Guidelines for Ubiquitous DSL/Fibre Service Provision

Abstract:  Zero Touch use-cases have been identified and subjected to techno-economical analysis.  In addition, a ubiquitous delivery architecture has been described and the consequences of locating fibre-fed remote nodes at the distribution point discussed.  The main limitation issues for fibre-fed remote nodes include powering, POTS supports and OAM reduction.  Solutions to all these points are required before such nodes can be installed in a network.
