Abstract: This document gives guidance on a common methodology for estimating the impact of noise on xDSL performance. It provides the reader with computing models of transmitters, receivers, cable loss and crosstalk coupling for a variety of Spectral Management studies. The document is a consolidated Technical Report, approved by ETSI, and will soon be published by ETSI as TR 101 830-2.
