Abstract: This document contains the design of the Residential Gateway prototype that is being developed within the FTTH framework. It includes a state of the art with existing RGW available in the market finding the most important contributions of MUSE RGW. The document describes the architecture adopted for the RGW together with the functional blocks of the development. The last sections are facing the prototype from a technical point of view detailing the software architecture and explaining the different test scenarios where the prototype will be involved.
