Abstract: This Deliverable investigates the network requirements of advanced applications and the impact of User Behaviours.  In the course of the study it was observed that the different applications have diverse key requirements, so an overall set of requirements can only be derived by merging the differing requirements.  Some of the applications presented are at an early stage of development or extrapolations of ideas, so that it is not possible to quantify the network requirements. In such cases indications are given as to the more important parameters that need to be considered. The chapter on User Behaviours is mainly from analysis of published reports and gives an insight into the way people use media and the way new applications affect people.
